I loved this comic, but it definitely doesn't have broad appeal. I would describe it as an impressionist comic; the art in particular isn't as focused on conveying a series of events as it is on conveying emotions and senses. The text is much the same--as another reviewer said, it tends towards poetry. Reading Intersect is like having someone else's dream. If you're into art comics or experimental comics, you'll probably realty like this. If you want to read a story, you'll probably be frustrated. I recommend reading out once for the emotions and sensuality, and a second time to get a better grasp on the plot.Product details

The art is kinda cool but it just makes things more confusing. And the story is VERY hard to follow. It looks like they tried to do something original but it just comes off as lazy.
The art is very cool, but it makes the story much harder to follow. The story itself is also very complex. So these two things combined make Intersect somewhat confusing at first, I had to read the first chapter a couple of times to fully get what was going on. But once you figure it out the story is really interesting and haunting, and the art really does add to that haunting creepy feel. The writing is can be very spacy and poetic at times, but all together i found it to be excellent.
This is not a traditional comic book, so if that is what you are looking for, this is not for you. It is very experimental and requires another from the reader. This is for the person who is willing to go back and go through and really concentrate on the story and art to try and figure out what is going on. One suggestion I have is to read the description on the back cover first, before you start reading, it really helps in explaining whats going on.
I personally very much enjoyed this read. And it is cool to see someone really pushing the boundaries on what a comic book can be, I'm excited to see what comes next.
